Join us at the Good Tern Co-op on Monday, November 24th from 5-7pm for a free wine tasting and local food sampling event!

Good Tern’s Wine and Beer Buyer, Beth, will be sampling a Pinot Noir and a Pinot Gris from King Estate in Willamette Valley, Oregon. We'll also be sampling a limited batch of George Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau, a traditional thanksgiving wine from France. This wine is only released the week before Thanksgiving, so we'll be receiving our special batch specifically for this tasting. Vibrant red fruits such as strawberries and currants on the palate, and an intense perfume, make this wine a perfect accompaniment for cheese, charcuterie, and traditional holiday fare.

"Beaujolais nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. It is a vin de primeur, fermented just a few weeks before being released for sale on the third Thursday of November. Distributors compete to get the first bottles to different global markets."

If you're entertaining friends and family for the holidays, these certified organic and biodynamic wines would make the perfect accompaniment to your holiday gatherings or Thanksgiving meal! We will also have some local snacks available to try alongside the wines.

Be sure to stop by and give them a try!
