Join us on Saturday, October 4th for our Community Bash & Co-op Anniversary Celebration!

To celebrate 45 years of the Good Tern Co-op, we’ll be throwing a party in the co-op parking lot! Join us from 2:30pm to 5:30pm for live music, dancing, free samples of foods from local vendors, activities for kids, a reception for a staff art show, and local product giveaways. It will be fun for the whole family!
AIO Food & Energy Assistance will be bringing their apple press to the event so folks can press and enjoy their own fresh apple cider. Apples are provided by Boothby’s Orchard and School House Farm.
North Beacon Oyster will be on-site shucking local oysters from Pemaquid Oyster Company, Glidden Point Oyster Farm, and Unicorn Oyster Farm.
Rockland Rolls will be providing yard games such as corn hole, ladder ball, and more!
We are excited to welcome our special guest, Rochelle Gerratt, who was integral to transforming the Good Tern Co-op from a buying club to a cooperatively-owned storefront in 1980!
Be sure to visit the Bagel Shop for a trip down memory lane, as we display a collection of old photographs taken over the years. Member-owners are encouraged to enjoy this space for conversation and connection.
This 45th anniversary celebration will be a great opportunity for Good Tern members to connect, reconnect, socialize, and reminisce with each other and the community. We hope to see you there!
