  1. Hi,

My mother and I have recently moved to Rockland to start up a small local bath and beauty company called Dulse & Rugosa, Maine Island Botanicals. We handcraft in small batches all of our products. We have a small farm out on Gotts Island (off the coast of Bass Harbor) which we use to grow our botanicals. What we don’t grow we wild harvest from the coast line, meadows, forests, and intertidal zone of the island. We currently sell at the Rockport Farmers Market and on-line but we are looking for other venues for our products within the local community. We are both members of Good Tern and really love the store, your mission, your products, and the lovely people who work there and we think that Dulse & Rugosa would be a good fit. We would really love to have Dulse & Rugosa become part of Good Tern. Please let me know either through email ( or phone at 207-899-9963 if you would be interested in learning more about our products, or would like some samples!!

    Thank you for your time.
    Carly Weinberg
